An inquisition relating to the Manor of Barrasford, on the death of Margery, daughter of Richard Umfrevill and second wife of Eoger de Merley, was held at Heddon-on-the-Wall on the Monday after the feast of St. Peter in Cathedra, 1292. Hodgson's Northumberland, II., ii., p. 470, n. 6.
